Music Workshop Program
Designed to nurture young talent and provide hands-on experience in key areas of music performance, creation, and production. This workshop is ideal for students who are passionate about music and want to explore both creative and technical aspects under expert guidance.
The sessions will be conducted by Nelson D’souza, Musician, Music Composer, Founder and host of the Young Talent Music Competition

Date: 17, 18, 19 – September 2026 (Thu-Fri-Sat)
Day 1 (17th Sept 2026)– Performance Fundamentals
🎤 Vocals
Duration: 90 minutes (session)
Age Group: 7 to 18 years
- Voice training, pitch control, breathing techniques, and confidence building.
- Dynamics – Vibrato
🌟 Stage Performance
Duration: 90 minutes (session)
Age Group: 7 to 18 years
- Learn stage presence, audience engagement, and live performance techniques.
- Protocols of Public performance
Day 2 (18th Sept 2026) – Creative Development
✍️ Songwriting
Duration: 90 minutes (session)
Age Group: 10 to 18 years
- Introduction to lyrics, song structure, and creative expression.
- Protocols of Songwriting
🎹 Music Composing
Duration: 90 minutes (session)
Age Group: 10 to 18 years
- Basics of melody creation, harmony, and arrangement.
- Chord Progressions and Scale Structures
Day 3 – Music Technology & Production
🎧 Audio Recording (using Cubase – Digital Audio Workstation)
Duration: 90 minutes (session)
Age Group: 12 years onwards
- Basics in recording techniques and studio workflow.
- Miking Techniques
🎚️ Music Production (using Cubase – Digital Audio Workstation)
Duration: 90 minutes (session)
Age Group: 12 years onwards
- Learn basic editing, mixing basics, and producing a complete track.
- Using Sound samples and Processors (Reverb, EQ, Compression, Limiters)
